Cloud Desktop – What is the Right Plan?

At Apps4Rent, we have designed our cloud desktops with the state-of-the-art virtualization technology. Our prices vary based on inclusions and technology used. Here are the primary variations in our plans:

  • Choice of Vendor

  • Apps4Rent’s cloud desktop solutions have been developed using technologies from two industry leaders in virtualization—Microsoft and Citrix. At the moment, Citrix offers a more premium product with superior graphics experience and out-of-the-box functionalities.

  • Choice of Mode

  • For each vendor, Apps4Rent offers two versions of desktops – session-based and full Dedicated Virtual desktop. In the session-based option, applications are pre-installed in a shared space and in the full Dedicated Virtual desktop option, a dedicated space is provided for each end user’s application. In the session-based option, Apps4Rent’s technicians can install any custom apps on request, for which additional fees may apply. In the Dedicated Virtual desktop based product, the buyer of cloud desktop plans can install their own applications on their desktop.

  • Choice of Office Version

  • We offer free Office version as well as Microsoft Office Standard, Professional Plus and Office 365 ProPlus versions.

  • Volume Discounts

  • The Dedicated Virtual desktop plans have lower prices for incremental users. For volume buyers of session-based desktops, Apps4Rent can customize the applications installed on the virtual desktops.
