Synchronizing HP iPAQ Glisten Series with Hosted Microsoft Exchange server
You can synchronize your HP iPAQ Glisten Series device in two ways:
- With a corporate e-mail account (Microsoft Exchange Server) using your device’s data connection.
- Connecting your device to your computer with the In-box USB sync cable.
Your device can synchronize the following:
- Outlook Contacts
- Outlook Calendar
- Outlook E-mail
- Outlook Tasks
- Outlook Notes
- Internet Explorer Mobile Favorites
- Files
- Microsoft Office OneNote Files
Before you begin synchronizing your device with your computer, you require the following:
- USB sync cable
- Synchronization software
- Microsoft Exchange ActiveSync 4.5 (or later) is required for Host PC which is running with Microsoft Windows XP
- Windows Mobile Device Center (WMDC) is required for Host PC which is running with Microsoft Windows Vista
- Microsoft Outlook (optional) – If you do not have Microsoft Office Outlook, you can only synchronize files and Internet Explorer Mobile Favorites
- Microsoft Office OneNote (optional) – If you do not have Microsoft Office OneNote, you can only synchronize files and Internet Explorer Mobile Favorites
