Requirements for Hosting Mambo on a Dedicated Server
Mambo is a free software/ open source content management system (CMS) for creating and managing websites through a simple web interface. Minimum RAM needed only for hosting Mambo is less than 512 MB. Apps4Rent’s Hyper-V Bronze plan will allow you to run Mambo easily.
Please ensure that the following options are selected in the signup form when using signing up for our Hyper-V server offering. Also, Mambo hosting works best under Linux environment; so you need to choose appropriate Linux server from the offering.
- Apache 1.13
- PHP 4.2 or higher.
- MySQL 3.23 or higher. Recommended is mySQL 4 or my SQL 5.0.
