Forwarding Email to an External Address in Exchange 2013

There are times when you would like to forward all your mails received by you to another e-mail address which is outside your current Organization. Exchange allows this; but you will first need to create a contact as stated above and then add it to the Forwarder List.

NOTE:  Please ensure that you have created the Contact in Control Panel by visiting the Contact section in the Control Panel and clicking on Add a New Contact.  Once the Contact is created; you can follow the steps given below.

1. Click on Mailboxes.
2. Click on Mail flow Settings.
3. Put a check mark next to Enable Forwarding.
4. Click on the “Book Icon”
5. Select the newly created Contact or the desired e-mail address where you want your mails to be forwarded.
6. Click on Save Change.
