Understanding Quarantined Messages Notification Mail

The filtering system sends out 24 hrs. quarantine summary report at pacific midnight by default to all customers. These e-mails are sent from alerts@projectserverhosting.com e-mail address. The frequency of this notification can be tweaked based on your needs by contacting support. Here is a brief description of the notification mail.

The notification contains details about the total number of mails which were processed on the previous day. It also contains details about number of Spam Messages; Total messages which it considered were good (and delivered to the inbox); and Total Spam (Quarantined messages).

The notification e-mail also lists, all the e-mails which have been Quarantined by the system. You can easily release them into your mailbox by following the steps given below.

  1. 1. From the list of Quarantined mails-locate the e-mail which you need to restore.
  2. 2. Click on the Restore option from the Action section.
  3. 3. While you restore them system also probes you to whitelist domain / sender, This will ensure that subsequent emails will never be blocked again.
  4. 4. The new interface has been designed to be touch device and mobile device friendly. On the page Mark a quarantined message Good use the relevant option.


NOTE: Having a green block/green tick indicates that the option is enabled.
