Log into the Outlook Web App.<br \/>\n2. Click on Mail on the left.<br \/>\n3. Click on &#8220;Options&#8221; on right hand corner.<br \/>\n4. Drop down to &#8220;See all Options&#8221;.<br \/>\n5. Click on &#8220;Block and Allow&#8221; on the left pane.<\/p>\n<p>From here you can selectively filter e-mails to Junk or stop all e-mails going to Junk.<\/p>\n<p>6. If you wish to allow Outlook Web App to move suspected e-mails to junk, please select radio button &#8220;Automatically move to Junk email&#8221;.<br \/>\n7. E-mails addresses and domains entered in &#8220;Safe Senders and Recipients&#8221; will never be treated like Junk.\u00a0 To add e-mail addresses to &#8220;Safe Senders and Recipients&#8221;; please enter the e-mail address or the domain and click on on the green plus mark next to it.\u00a0\u00a0 Safe recipients include groups that you&#8217;re a member of and from which you want to receive e-mail messages.<\/p>\n<p>8. Similarly, e-mail addresses and domains enetered in &#8220;Blocked Senders&#8221; will be treated as Junk mails.\u00a0\u00a0 To add e-mail addresses to &#8220;Blocked Senders&#8221;; please enter the e-mail address or the domain and click on on the green plus mark next to it.<br \/>\n9. Finally click on &#8220;Save&#8221; at the bottom right to save the rule.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>NOTE:<\/strong><\/span> These settings are applicable only after mails reach the exchange cluster.\u00a0 Mails blocked at the Firewall will not reach the cluster and changes need to be made at the firewall level.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\"><strong>Tip: <\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p><em>*\u00a0\u00a0 Enabling &#8220;Don&#8217;t move e-mail to my Junk E-Mail folder&#8221; stops the Junk Mail Filtering process for Outlook Web App and all e-mails reaching the cluster will goto your inbox.\u00a0 The &#8220;Blocked Senders&#8221;; &#8220;Safe Senders and Recipients&#8221; and other options are ineffective.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>*\u00a0\u00a0 If you select &#8220;Trust e-mail From my contacts&#8221; e-mail from any address in your Contacts will be treated as safe.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em>*\u00a0\u00a0 If you select &#8220;Don&#8217;t trust e-mail unless it comes from someone in my Safe Senders and Recipients list or local senders&#8221; option:\u00a0 In addition to Safe Senders and Recipients and Blocked Senders, you can use this setting to treat all e-mail as junk unless it comes from someone included in your Safe Senders and Recipients list or from senders in your shared address list.<\/em><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>NOTE:\u00a0\u00a0 The behavior under this option is only for e-mails that are not blocked at the perimeter of the Exchange cluster on the Firewall.\u00a0 Rules set by your administrator will supersede the list or rules you add here. 1.
