From the Accounts menu, select Account Setup. You&#8217;ll see a message that states whether the test was successful.<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li class=\"MsoNormal\">Optional: If you selected Advanced&#8230; Select any of the following:<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-left: 0.5in; text-indent: -0.25in;\"><!--[if !supportLists]--><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: Wingdings;\"><span>\u00d8<\/span><\/span><!--[endif]--><strong>Port Number:<\/strong> By default, the port number setting is 443. You may need to change the port number if you choose not to retrieve incoming mail over a secure connection.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"margin-left: 0.5in; text-indent: -0.25in;\"><!--[if !supportLists]--><span style=\"font-size: 10pt; font-family: Wingdings;\"><span>\u00d8<\/span><\/span><!--[endif]--><strong>Use Secure Connection (SSL):<\/strong> By default, this box is checked, meaning you can retrieve incoming mail over a secure (Secure Sockets Layer, or SSL) connection.
