For Microsoft Outlook 2003:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Go to the Sent Items<\/strong> folder.<\/p>\n

2. Find the message you want recalled and double-click it.<\/p>\n

3. Go to the Actions<\/strong> menu and select Recall This Message<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

4. To recall the message:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Select Delete unread copies of this message<\/strong>.
\n(Note:<\/strong> the recipient needs to have Outlook opened for the message to be deleted)<\/p>\n

To replace the message:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Select Delete unread copies and replace with a new message<\/strong>, click OK, and type your new message.<\/p>\n

To be notified about the success of the recall or replacement:<\/strong><\/p>\n

Check the Tell me if recall succeeds or fails for each recipient<\/strong> check box.<\/p>\n

5. Click OK.<\/p>\n

UPDATE: How To Recall a Sent Message in Microsoft Outlook 2007:<\/strong><\/p>\n

1. Click on Sent Items<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

2. Find the message you want recalled and double-click it to open.<\/p>\n

3. Go to the Ribbon.<\/p>\n

4. In the Actions<\/strong> section, click Other Actions<\/strong> and select Recall This Message<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

5. Select Delete unread copies of this message<\/strong>.<\/p>\n

6. To be notified about the success of the recall, check the Tell me if recall succeeds or fails for each recipient<\/strong> checkbox.<\/p>\n
