We hope you are happy with our services.<\/p>\n<p>Some of you might need to access files on local drives of your Windows 10 computer on your virtual desktop. This guide will help you enable drive redirection to a hosted computer with Remote Desktop Connection.<\/p>\n<h2>Getting started with Drive Redirection<\/h2>\n<h3>What will you need?<\/h3>\n<p>Please refer to our email with the subject line \u201cWelcome Email.\u201d This email to your registered email has the login information shared by Apps4Rent for easy access to Cloud Desktop. You can access information like<\/p>\n<ul style=\"list-style: square;\">\n<li>Desktop Name\/RDP Host Name\/IP<\/li>\n<li>Username<\/li>\n<li>Password<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Now that you have all the information you need, let\u2019s get started.<\/p>\n<p>Press the Windows button on the keyboard and type \u201c<b>Remote Desktop Connection<\/b>.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Select the \u201c<b>Remote Desktop Connection<\/b>\u201d icon.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/apps4rent.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/drive-1.gif\" style=\"width: 600px;\"><\/p>\n<p><b>Try it<\/b>: Select <b>Search<\/b> &gt; <b>Remote Desktop Connection<\/b>,<br \/>\nIn the results, select the option &#8220;<b>Remote Desktop Connection<\/b>.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>Expand the \u201c<b>Show Options<\/b>\u201d menu on the pop-up.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/apps4rent.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/drive-2.gif\"><\/p>\n<p>Click on the \u201c<b>Local Resources<\/b>\u201d tab.<\/p>\n<p>Click on \u201c<b>More<\/b>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/apps4rent.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/drive-3.gif\"><\/p>\n<p>Expand the \u201c<b>Drives<\/b>\u201d option and select the Drive to be mapped to the Virtual Desktop and click \u201c<b>OK<\/b>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/apps4rent.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/drive-4.gif\"><\/p>\n<p>Return to the \u201c<b>General<\/b>\u201d tab and click on \u201c<b>Save<\/b>\u201d and \u201c<b>Connect<\/b>\u201d.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/apps4rent.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/drive-5.gif\"><\/p>\n<p>Open Windows File Explorer on the Remote Desktop by right-clicking <b>Start<\/b> menu button and clicking <b>File Explorer<\/b>.<\/p>\n<p>The shared drive will be visible under the <b>Redirected drives and folders<\/b> subsection.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/apps4rent.com\/support\/wp-content\/uploads\/2020\/02\/drive-6.gif\" class=\"imgdis\"><\/p>\n<h3>Congratulations!<\/h3>\n<p>You have set up your local drive on the Virtual Desktop.
