Follow the 3-step process for enabling ports in Firewall using Windows Admin Center:<\/p>\n

Step 1: Log-in to Windows Admin Center<\/h2>\n

In the Login to Windows Admin Center, enter your credentials.<\/p>\n

Ex. https:\/\/apps4rentdemo.vdi.hostingcloudapp.com<\/b><\/p>\n

Step 2: Select Firewall and Incoming Tools<\/h2>\n

After your demo screen is displayed, select the \u201cFirewall\u201d<\/b> option from the left-hand side of the menu. In the example of apps4rentdemo below, you can see the firewall option selected.<\/p>\n

After you select the Firewall option, you need to select the \u201cIncoming rules\u201d<\/b> option in the next screen.<\/p>\n

Step 3: Select \u201c+New\u201d and Fill the Form<\/h2>\n

After selecting on the \u201cIncoming Rules\u201d<\/b>, click on the \u201c+New\u201d<\/b> option.<\/p>\n

A form will appear on your screen like this:<\/p>\n

All fields are not mandatory. Only the following fields need to be filled:<\/p>\n

Name:<\/b> Name of the Firewall Rule.<\/p>\n

Description:<\/b> Detail description about Firewall Rule.<\/p>\n

Direction:<\/b> Which direction traffic this rule will be applied: Incoming or Outgoing?<\/p>\n

Action:<\/b> What action this rule should take: Allowed or Blocked?<\/p>\n

Enable Firewall Rule:<\/b> Should this rule be active or not: Yes or No?<\/p>\n

Protocols and ports:<\/b> Should this rule be applied on specific protocol and Port or any type of traffic. (If you are not sure about protocol then don\u2019t select \u201cAny\u201d, select TCP instead)<\/p>\n

Local port:<\/b> On which local Port traffic will be received?<\/p>\n

Once you have filled all the necessary information, click on the \u201cCreate\u201d option.<\/p>\n

Once you create the new rule, you will get the below notification:<\/p>\n

It\u2019s done. You\u2019ve successfully created the rule and enabled ports in Firewall using Windows Admin Center.<\/p>\n
