NOTE:\u00a0\u00a0 This document is applicable only for customers using Apps4Rent’s Hosted Exchange services 2010.<\/strong><\/p>\n

Please follow the steps below to manually configure hosted Outlook 2010 with Exchange Hosting Services<\/a> 2010 Account:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Click on Start > Control Panel (in your Desktop).
\n2.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Double Click on \u2018Mail\u2019 icon.
\n3.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Click on \u2018Show Profiles\u2019
\n4.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Click on \u2018Add\u2019
\n5.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Provide a name (Can provide the user\u2019s display name) and click on Ok.
\n6.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Please select the option \u2018Manually configure server settings or additional server types\u2019 and click on \u2018Next\u2019.
\n7.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Select \u2018Hosted MS Exchange\u2019 and click on \u2018Next\u2019
\n8.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0In the Microsoft Exchange Servers, type: Webmail
\n9.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0In the User name, type the complete email address of the user account you are configuring.
\n10.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Now, don\u2019t click on \u2018Next\u2019 or \u2018Check Name. Instead click on \u2018More Settings\u2019
\n11.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0At the next pop up box which says, \u2018The action cannot be completed. \u2026.. \u2018 please click on \u2018OK\u2019.
\n12.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0You need to click on \u2018Cancel\u2019 at the next pop up box.
\n13.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0In the next pop up box, please select the \u2018Connection\u2019 tab.
\n14.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Put a check mark on Connect to Microsoft Exchange using HTTP.
\n15.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Click on the button \u2018Exchange Proxy Settings\u2019.
\n16.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0In connection settings type in the box: webmail.hostallapps.com
\n17.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Put a check mark on \u2018Connect using SSL Only\u2019
\n18.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Ensure there is a check mark on \u2018Only connect to proxy servers that have this principal name in their certificate\u2019.
\n19.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Type the following in the below box: msstd:webmail.hostallapps.com
\n20.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Ensure both the boxes below for \u2018fast and slow network\u2019 is checked
\n21.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Under \u2018Proxy authentication\u2019 settings select \u2018NTLM Authentication\u2019 from the drop down list then hit OK.
\n22.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0In the previous window which is open, click on \u2018Apply\u2019 and \u2018OK\u2019.
\n23.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Now click on \u2018Check Name\u2019.
\n24.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Type the email address in the user name field and type in the password for this account and click on \u2018OK\u2019.
\n25.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Once it gets authenticated; server name and username would have an underline
\n26.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Hit \u2018Next \u2018and \u2018Finish\u2019 the setup process.
\n27.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Open Outlook and it would again prompt for the login credentials for authentication.<\/p>\n
