{"id":10666,"date":"2012-08-24T22:31:39","date_gmt":"2012-08-25T02:31:39","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/apps4rent.com\/support\/?p=10666"},"modified":"2013-05-24T07:36:43","modified_gmt":"2013-05-24T11:36:43","slug":"scheduled-maintenance-time-frame","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.apps4rent.com\/support\/kb\/article\/scheduled-maintenance-time-frame","title":{"rendered":"Scheduled Maintenance Time Frame."},"content":{"rendered":"<p>The aspects outlined here are our ongoing effort to keep server maintenance&#8217;s and SLA agreement as transparent as possible.<\/p>\n<p>In order to provide you with the best of services, we routinely perform scheduled maintenance on different environments\/ servers in phases from time to time.<\/p>\n<p>During these routine maintenance tasks; Apps4Rent Engg proactively perform tasks like applying patches; upgrading software&#8217;s\/applications; adding or modifying various network elements; or upgrading\/replacing server hardware.\u00a0 Due nature of our various environments most of these tasks are seamless from users perspective and have no affect on our services.\u00a0 However, in some rare cases; while these tasks are being performed; some of our customers might experience intermittent connection issues with some services.\u00a0 At times, we may have to reboot the base machine on which our Virtual Dedicated Servers; Dedicated SharePoint Servers; Dedicated Exchange Servers; SharePoint Flex Servers; VDS; Hosted Desktop and other instances are running.\u00a0 In such a scenario; your respective servers would also go through a reboot cycle.<\/p>\n<p>As these are routine tasks for different servers and environments not all our customers or service are affected.<\/p>\n<p>The weekly maintenance tasks are scheduled to be carried out on late nights of every Friday, Saturday and Sunday.\u00a0 The weekly maintenance schedule window is for 4 hours and they begin at 11:00 PM Eastern.\u00a0 The maintenance window is not counted for SLA as these are already scheduled tasks by default.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>The aspects outlined here are our ongoing effort to keep server maintenance&#8217;s and SLA agreement as transparent as possible.
