If you purchase Office 365 straight from Microsoft, the actual end-user cannot directly approach Microsoft for issues – only one designated IT team admin can. Besides, the official response time for issues (not resolution time) of Microsoft is 24 hours for mails and support tickets. Phone support is limited to only those issues which are included in Microsoft’s official critical issues list.
So, your answer lies in two simple facts – total service and end-user support. We assist you from start to end in moving to Office 365, including migration, onboarding, deployment and testing. Post the migration, we also extend 24 x 7 x 365 end-user support. We are available to attend to your calls, emails and live chat, to solve any issue that you might face after migration.
And we offer our services and end-user support at no extra cost. You pay us exactly what you would directly pay Microsoft.
Microsoft Office 365 is a subscription-based model that includes all the regular Microsoft productivity applications like Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, OneNote and Publisher. It also features other web-based software including Lync (now known as Skype for Business), Business Class email Exchange, and OneDrive, the cloud storage.
Note that the Microsoft productivity applications mentioned above are also available as a live stream – just connect to the internet through any device, access them online, and work as you normally would on a Desktop. All upgrades, updates, and patches to Office 365 are automatically done by Microsoft in the background, ensuring that you always have the latest software.
Internet is needed to install and activate all Office 365 plans as well as to manage your subscription account. Internet is also needed to access Office 365 cloud productivity applications such as email, conferencing, IT management, and other services.
Many Office 365 plans, such as the Office 365 Business Premium and Office 365 Enterprise E3, also include the desktop version of Office. Having a desktop version enables you to do your work offline and have it automatically synced when you connect to the internet, so that your documents are always up to date. Besides, the updates and upgrades to your desktop version take place when connected to the internet,

Office 365 is designed to work with the latest version of Office, Office 2013, and Office 2011 for Mac. Previous versions of Office, such as Office 2010 and Office 2007, may work with Office 365 with reduced functionality. If you have Office 2003 or an earlier version, you will need to update to a newer version of Office in order to use Office 365; or you can subscribe to one of the many Office 365 plans that include the latest version of Office. In addition to getting the latest version of Office as part of your subscription, you will also get automatic updates, so your Office will always be up to date.
Being a highly scalable software, Office 365 can support from an individual user to corporates with tens of thousands of users. Office 365 Business plans are best for organizations with one to 300 users, while Office 365 Enterprise plans suit companies ranging in size from a single employee to 50,000-plus users. You can see how the different plans compare here.
All the data you create and upload resides safely in Microsoft’s highly secure data centers in the US. The data centers fulfill the strictest of compliance requirements; they are manned and monitored round the clock by top professionals and best processes in software security.
Microsoft guarantees 99.9% up time, with a financial backing for the same. Backups are done regularly and automatically on fixed schedules to ensure that your data is never lost. Even when you cancel the subscription, you will still be in control and ownership of all your data and you can take it with you if you decide to opt out.
For Mac users, we recommend the latest Office versions (Office, Office 2011, Office 2013), while Office 2007 and 2010 would work with limited functions. General users need not install any additional application to be able to use Office 365. As with any software, best results are obtained when your browsers, applications, and clients related to Office are kept updated and remain the latest version.
