In order for email to go to our servers, you will need to set your domain to point to our servers. Please create the following DNS entries for your domain.
MX-Record
- your_domain_with_us.com -> mx1.hostmailserver.com, use priority 10
- your_domain_with_us.com -> mx2.hostmailserver.com, use priority 20
You also need to add the "CName" record for autodiscover.yourdomainname.com to autodiscoverredirect.apps4rent.com.
If your domain registrar is any one of the following, then please click on the Domain Registrar Name for steps.

Changing MX records:
- Log in to your account at www.networksolutions.com.
- Click Edit DNS under DNS Settings. The Edit DNS page will appear. If you have not previously edited DNS entries for your domain name, you may need to select Custom DNS Setting.
- Under the DNS Manager-Advanced Tools panel, click Continue
- Under the Mail Servers panel, click Add / Edit.
- Remove any existing MX records by checking the box next to delete.
- Within the Mail Servers table, enter the following MX records:
- Priority: 10 Mail Server: mx1.hostmailserver.com
- Priority: 20 Mail Server: mx2.hostmailserver.com
- Hit Save.
- Confirm the changes by clicking GO.
CName:
- Log in to your account at www.networksolutions.com.
- In the Account Manager, select View Domain Name List.
- Select the domain name that you have entered while registering the Hosted Exchange Service with us.
- Tick the option for Custom DNS Settings and click Edit. If you have already used this option, click Edit DNS.
- In the Edit DNS page, click Continue for the DNS Manager - Advanced Tools section.
- To add a CNAME record, click Add/Edit for the Host Aliases section.
- Enter autodiscover.
- As the host name, enter autodiscoverredirect.apps4rent.com.
- Click Continue.
ENOM: ±
Changing MX records:
- Log in to your account at www.enom.com.
- Open the "Domains" tab and select "My Domain Names".
- Select the domain name that you have entered while registering the Hosted Exchange Service with us.
- Select "E-mail Settings" from the drop down.
- Now Select User MX from the drop down Service Selection.
- Clear all existing MX Records by clicking Delete.
- In Host Name type @
- In address type mx1.hostmailserver.com.
- Set Pref to 10.
- Click on New Row.
- In Host Name Type @
- In address type mx2.hostmailserver.com.
- Set Pref to 20.
- Click on Save.
CName:
- Log in to your account at www.enom.com.
- From the drop-down menu at the Domains tab, select My Domain. You'll be directed to the Manage Domains page.
- Select the domain name that you have entered while registering the Hosted Exchange Service with us.
- Click Host Records.
- To add a CNAME record, click NEW ROW and Select CNAME.
- Type autodiscover
- As the host name, type autodiscoverredirect.apps4rent.com
- Click Save.
GoDaddy: ±
Changing MX records:
- Log in to your Account Manager.
- In the My Products section, click Domains.
- Click the domain name for which you want to create an MX record.
- In the Total DNS Control section, click Total DNS Control and MX Records.
- Click Add New MX Record.
- Fill the following details:
- Priority: 10
- HostName: @
- Enter Goes to Address:mx1.hostmailserver.com
- TTL: 1 hour.
- Click OK.
- Repeat the same procedure with Priority set to 20 and the "Enter Goes to Address" Set to mx1.hostmailserver.com
CName:
- Log in to your account at www.godaddy.com.
- Open the Domains tab and select My Domain Names. You'll be directed to the Domain Manager page.
- Select the domain name that you have entered while registering the Hosted Exchange Service with us.
- Click the Total DNS Control And MX Records in the box entitled Total DNS Control.
- Click Add New CNAME Record.
- In "Alias Name" type: autodiscover
- As the host name, enter autodiscoverredirect.apps4rent.com
- Leave the TTL value to the default selection.
- Click OK.
