BlackBerry Pearl offers several models from which to choose: BlackBerry Pearl 8100-8130 versions, BB Pearl Flip 8220-8230 versions and recently released BB Pearl 3G 9100 and 9105 versions. Like most RIM phones, they were developed to integrate with BES (BlackBerry Exchange Server). Because of this, companies can offer their employees BB Pearl with data synchronization through hosted Exchange and BES hosting by Apps4Rent.

The BB Pearl is one of the few phones developed by RIM (Research in Motion) that offer a flip version; as a distinct version that sets BlackBerry Pearl Flip apart from other RIM smartphones, it’s been described as a “sexy smartphone” by many a business user.
